The thirty-five year old pregnant Sharon Tracey and her two year old son Brandon have been kicked out of the bus in Plymouth, when she was heading home from work. The bus driver would have warned the mother to keep her child quiet. When Sharon could not keep the two year old Brandon quiet she was forced to leave the bus. She had to walk a mile back home. Sharon said that she felt embarrassed and had done everything she could to keep her son quiet. Brandon had been in town, he was fed up and hot and was screaming to get out of this pushchair. He husband was shocked when she called and told him what had happened to her and their son. The transport company Plymouth Citybus said that they are going to investigate.
I am shocked to her that a pregnant woman en her son where being kicked out of the bus. I mean it annoying when a child is screaming and especially when the child is tired and hot. They just want to sleep comfortable. The bus driver did not have the right to kick them out the bus before she was by their bus halt. I do think that the bus driver should be punished or loose his job. It is a shame that something like that happened and also that no one in the bus had protested or said something to the bus driver.

I fear that I must disagree with you here. Constantly screaming children are one of the most annoying things on earth, and the bus driver was right when he kicked them out.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJust kidding. The bus driver probably just had a bad day. The woman needs to keep her child under control a little bit better, for her own sake as well.
By the way, you should watch your grammar, spelling and Dutch words in the blog. ;)
I fear that I must disagree with Tim here.. I don't think that he had the right to kick them out. We are talking about a pregnant woman who had to walk in the warm weather back to her house. I can understand that children are annoying, but this goes way to far.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think you'll find that the first part of my comment was a joke. I don't think she should have been kicked out, but these things happen and a little exercise can never harm anyone, can it?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am a little stuck in the middle here. It is so annoying when a child is screaming and crying constantly, but is that a solid reason to kick a pregnant woman out of the bus? Walking could be extremely painful when you are pregnant, and I assume that the driver saw that the woman was pregnant? If I were the driver, I probably did not kick her out, but the other passengers could get frustrated. Well, try to live with it:)
BeantwoordenVerwijderen(Note: read your blog a couple of times and improve it. Just what Timmeh said, there are some little errors, but good job!)
I do not think the busdriver should be fired. That's quite a measurement you suggest there, haha. If you kick out a mother with her crying child, you might as well kick out schoolchildren who are going on a trip with the bus. Those are the most annoying ones. So I partially agree with you on this matter. Watch your spelling and your choice of words. I see some Dutch words in it like 'en' and 'bus halt'
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBut nice subject!
I think it is shocking that the bus driver forced this woman to leave the bus. Of course it is very annoying if a child does not stop screaming. The other passengers, the bus driver and the mother were probably also annoyed by it. This woman tried everything she could to stop the child from screaming, but he was probably just tired. But is it actually known what he said, or did she just interpret it as being forced to leave the bus? Besides, couldn’t she just have taken the next bus when she had calmed her child? Anyhow, I don’t think the driver had the right to force this woman to leave and it was horrible that she had to walk all the way back while she was pregnant.
